When Google reports a Mobile Usability problem
This page is similar in name to my page on the error reported by Google Search Console.
How to fix "Text to small to read" and "Clickable elements too close together"
This error was reported for one of the pages that I started to convert to my new design layout. This is not surprising as there were other errors (of my own determination) on the page - I was using it as a development page adding functions to it.
The Usability errors when they surface mainly relate to the documentation of source code as I initally placed code snippets in PRE tags which by their inherrent nature are not responsive.
When making changes to the page in attempts to fix the errors the use of the "view page" in GSC is very useful as you get a first order idea of how the page renders on a mobile device. If the text is too small or extends wider than the screen you will see this. Also the elements too wide to display on a mobile screen will be evident if they are near the top of the screen-shot (you cannot scroll the screen-shot).
