Using YouTube on your web pages

This page started out as a test page to show how I could use a YouTube link in an HTML Video tag. It was not meant as a "How-to".
YouTube may have changed their business model and they now want people to actually visit the YouTube page and not view the video imbedded.
While I can see that this may be attractive to many I am not so sure. If there is no other way that you can add video content to your pages, I guess that this could be a solution. I am not sure whether this looks very professional. Also, if you are a competent web designer I don't see why you would be struggling with video formats??
The use of YouTube video, in an iframe, is an easy way out - As is the use of iframes in general.
I used this technique on my Parish Council page that featured the village AED. The example below formally showed this.

This demonstrated the use of the defibrillator.
In this example I changed the link supplied to me that was a direct link to a YouTune page to include the /embed/ directory.
This technique obviates the need to create a thumbnail image for a iOS user to click on.
