Fear of Coding

Many providers of Internet "solutions" will try to scare their potential customers with the notion that coding is difficult. It can be, but you have to take into account what you want to acheive.

Level of Abstraction

As I say on my website design phylosophy the key is to find the correct level of abstraction that you are most confortable. When it comes to programing (coding) there is almost always a lower level of abstraction. In this case, computer programming, it stops with low-level hardware manipulation - this is the world of Assembler, and there are few that still do this. Being around and active when personal computers first became available and studying it to degree level, I have programmed in Assembler and a host of higher level languages.

A means to an end

If you search for "the fear of coding" you will find a lot of justification for the promotion of coding/programing. I am not trying to tell you that it is fun, I find it so, but is is just a "means to an end".
