Windows 10 March 2021 - What's new and different
Having just setup a new Windows 10 notebook there are a few observations on what I see as different. Microsoft tell you what they want you to know, but your experience may be not the same. There are obvious changes with respect to security notebly with respect to Windows 10 S andWindows 10 in S-Mode. I admit I am still a little confused in this regard as I feel that there is a bit of a "storm in a teacup" here. Sure, things are different but it is not as debilitating as many make out.
For me the biggest difference on startup is that I am asked for a PIN. This is okay, I guess if I had facial recognition or a fingerprint reader then that would be how the computer is protected. This would be the same as the iPad Pro that I currently use.
