Editing Drone Videos

Adding audio to a drone video is really easy using Apple iMovie. This is easy for me as I have decided to use an iPad Pro to administer my drone activity. This includes flying the Mavic Pro and the download and storage of video files.

There are many video editing suites available for all platforms. Adobe and Cyberlink come out pretty high but I would say that there is a fair amount of overkill in all the offerings. Like many things in life it is a question of deciding what you want to do.

iMovie

I admit, I was pleasantly surprised on what you could do with iMovie. As it came on my iPad Pro it was a no-brainer to try it out.

Converting video format

You may wish to convert the format of your drone footage. Not all devices will support the .mp4 .mov file formats.
