Lidl Parkside Petrol Chainsaw - PBKS 53 A1

Once again, a product from Lidl/Aldi gets "strange" reviews.

I have just purchased the PBKS 53 A1 and it is great. Sure, it is a budget (discount store) product but it is no way inferior.

This is my third Aldi/lidl chainsaw and by all indcations this Parkside chainsaw is likely to be as good as the Gardenline ones that I also own.

On unboxing I was sawing through logs 8 inches in diameter within minutes. If I wanted to fell a tree the saw would be more than up to the job.

Making a search the day of the purchase there were those that were out-of-date (2019 and 2017) and a promotional listing from Which that wanted to see you pay for a review of the product.

Price

I am also confused about the prices that I see when I make the search for the Lidl 53cc Petrol Chainsaw. There are listings for £129.99 and £139.99 on eBay but Lidl are selling the chainsaw for £79.99?????

As far as I know there is no shortage of supply for this chainsaw and it is if those posting it on sale on eBay were anticipating that there would be. The other thing that is strange is that the eBays listings have the model number: PBKS 53 A1, Lidl list the chainsaw on thier website as "Parkside Petrol Chainsaw"
