The biggest problem that I saw with a site map and About pages in the way that I had them was that a visitor would get the wrong impression of what this website was all about if they followed the links from pages that they found.
In addition, if a curious Internet user wondered what the domain I am using was all about and looked to see if there was a website associated with the email that I may have sent them, they may have typed in tempusfugit.me.uk to see what it was.
Proposal
That I combine the function of a "Main" about page and a Site Map. Current links to "Site Map" go to a new About page and About on the main page also goes to that page.
